Sick Again!!

Ugh, Reed is sick again!

In between Hand, Foot and Mouth and this latest illness, Reed had been battling a runny nose and sinus congestion. On Saturday night, he started feeling warm like he was running a fever.

On Sunday morning, he started to cry about 5 a.m. We usually let him come and snuggle with us if he wakes up anytime between 5:30 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. so we can get a little more sleep. We brought him back to bed and about 45 minutes later, he woke up and yakked in our bed. I tell you, I've never seen Beau hop up out of bed and move so fast!!

That led to an all-morning barf-a-thon. The final tally was two on Beau, two on me, one on the kitchen floor.

We kept him home today from daycare, which works out since my last day was Friday, Dec. 18. I have two weeks off for the holiday. We were hoping he would feel better today, and he has if you consider the puke tally is at 1. However, he was pretty sleepy and clingy through the morning, which is unlike him. He's usually very mobile and does not like to sit still. But he sat next to Mommy most of the morning and watched Barney and Clifford the Big Red Dog. During Clifford, he fell asleep on the couch, and I snapped a quick pic.

Please Santa, all we want for Christmas is a healthy kid!
