Here are a few photos of Reed...his new thing is putting items in other items...i.e. dropping toys into a bucket, stacking different toys on top of each other.

Last week, we were playing out on the deck, and I filled up a large plastic bowl with water and gave him some toys to play with. He did that for a few minutes, and then decided he wanted to be in the water in the bowl! He had to do a Buddha pose to get in it. I decided to relax and let him get wet.

Oh - one funny story. We are starting to discipline Reed a little more, saying "no thank you" to some of the actions/behavior we don't like. ("No thank you" is what they use at day care. We want to be consistent.) It's funny how early they start testing you. I asked Beau to give me a rock to put in the bowl so Reed could see an object that sinks. After awhile, he picked up the rock and brought it to his mouth. I quickly said, "Reed, no thank you" and pulled the rock away from his mouth. Well, a few seconds later he pulled the rock out of the water, opened his mouth like he was going to put it in, stopped....looked at me, and waited for me to say "no, thank you." Then he smiled and put the rock back in the water. He did that several times. Stinker.
