Cake Smash!

My friend Laura gave me a wonderful gift for Reed's first birthday. A budding photographer, she asked if I would be interested in having Reed pose in a cake smash photo shoot. She is building her portfolio and wanted to try the setup. Her theory is that the first birthday party and the cake eating goes by so fast that you can't always capture that moment adequately. So the week before Reed's birthday, Laura, her husband Tim, and their kids Audrey and Drew came over to our house for the shoot.

Here is what resulted. Isn't it awesome? I LOVE it!
