Happy Easter!

Happy Easter everyone! And a happy 75th birthday to my Grandma Jan.

Yesterday my parents, sister, Beau and I drove up to Kansas City to celebrate my Grandma Jan's birthday milestone. Her actual birthday is today but we suprised her with lunch among the family. My uncles, aunts and a few cousins were all able to attend. Grandma walked in and began to cry a little from being surprised. Dad said it was well worth it to see her be shocked and happy.

Today we woke up to snow....ugh...You would think we would be close to done with winter. We got up this morning and had brunch with Beau's Uncle Richard, Aunt Christa, Grandma Hazel and Cousin Keegan. Lots of food this weekend...and I have a healthy appetite.

We are in the process of finishing our basement with LOTS of assistance from my dad. So we ran around today getting paint colors since they will paint this week. Then it will just be flooring, the new bar, and the bathroom to finish. It will be great to have a place to play when the baby comes. I'll post pictures when we finish.

And for those of you who wonder how I'm progressing...here's a picture taken this week. I'll be a full five months this week. Hopefully, you see growth in my waist and belly in this picture! I sure feel it.
